Narrative
The range comprises Dallmannfjellet and Småskeidrista, between Conradgebirge and the glacier Glopeken in the W and the glacier Somoveken and Alexander-von-Humboldt-Gebirge in the E, Orvinfjella, Fimbulheimen, Neuschwabenland, Dronning Maud Land. Discovered during German Antarctic Expedition 1938/39 ('Neuschwabenland-Expedition') under Alfred Ritscher.
Named For
Eduard Dallmann (1830-1896), leader of the Antarctic Expedition 1873/74 and captain of the expedition vessel 'Grönland'.
