A small ridge, about 381m high, overlooking the Ross Ice Shelf on the shoulder of the foothills descending north-east from Mt Fridtjof Nansen in the Queen Maud Range. Discovered by Amundsen in January 1912. A cairn was built and a record left here. Named by him for Betty Andersson, nurse and later housekeeper in the Amundsen family for many years. Also ascended by Gould of the Byrd AE, 1928-30.
