The sector of Antarctica between longitude 73ºE longitude and Cape Penck (87º 55' 20" E longitude). Discovered on 9 February 1931 by BANZARE (1929-31) under Sir Douglas Mawson. Named by Mawson after H.R.H. Princess Elizabeth (now H.M. Queen Elizabeth II).
