Wii remote
The Nintendo Wii Remote is a wireless (Bluetooth) games controller that has, amongst other things, accelerometers, buttons, and an infra-red camera capable of particle tracking. We are exploring the utility of this device as a data exploration tool in conjunction with Matlab. The scripts provided here allow you to pan, rotate, and zoom a Matlab figure using the Wiimote.
We used the GlovePIE emulator as the bridge between the Wiimote and Matlab. Actions on the Wiimote are converted into mouse actions, which trigger the zoom, pan, or rotate actions in Matlab.
