Taxonomy Search

The search options are

  • enter a two part name and the search will be restricted to genus/species or
  • enter one word and both genus, species and sub-species names will be searched or
  • enter an initial letter for the genus followed by a full stop and then part of the species name. An example is A. forst will find all genus staring with A and species containing fort which will return amongst others, the Emperor Penguin. For this option, you must select the Scientific Type of search option.

A maximum of 1000 records are returned.
