Narrative

Sir Hubert Wilkins en un vuelo efectuado el 10 de diciembre de 1928 la fotografió como una isla que estaba retirada de la costa E de Tierra de O'Higgins, ubicándola en Lat. 66° 30' S- Long. 62° 30' W. Subsiguiente comparación con las fotografías de Wilkins con aquellas tomadas por el FIDS, que cartografió la costa en 1947, indican que esa punta aunque considerablemente más al N de la posición informada por Wilkins como isla, era la que se denominaba isla Foyn. El nombre punta Foyn se le dio a la extremidad S de este accidente.
