Narrative

Fue descubierto por la Expedición Antártica Belga al mando del teniente Adrien de Gerlache, 1897-1899. El nombre aparece en una carta basada en un levantamiento de 1927 efectuado por el personal de DI a bordo del "Discovery", pero puede ser copia de otro anterior. Pico situado a unas dos millas al W de punta Van Ryswyck en el extremo E de isla Anvers en el archipiélago de Palmer.
