Fue cartografiada por la Expedición Francesa al mando del Dr. Jean B. Charcot entre los años 1905-1910, quien le dio este nombre por Antonio Lussich de Montevideo, quien ayudó a la expedición. Caleta situada en la costa S de la ensenada Martel, en la bahía Almirantazgo, frente a punta Ullmann, en isla Rey Jorge, islas Shetland del Sur.
