Narrative

Probablemente, visto por miembros del Servicio Antártico de los EE.UU. quienes fotografiaron una porción de la península Kemp, mientras exploraban estas costas desde el aire en diciembre de 1940. En 1947 fue fotografiado por el RARE, que junto con el FIDS lo cartografiaron en el terreno. El nombre se lo dio el FIDS, en honor Neil A. Mackintosh, biólogo marino y oceanográfico británico. Situado en el extremo N de la península Kemp y a 25 millas al SE de la isla Pullen. El cabo es de poca altura, cubierto de nieve.
