This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
In the east of the mountain, there is the Niulang Shan which is separated by a valley covered in snow. In the west, the sea separates the hill and cape. The west slope is too steep to climb. It has an altitude of 123 meters. It was named when surveying and mapping in 1993.
