This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A cove between Huaxi Bandao and Haizhu Bandao. At the bottom of the cove is the icecap of Antarctica where the suspended ice is very steep and regularly falls and floats on the sea. In the outer ring of the cove there are several rock island, which is a natural port. It was named when aerial surveying and mapping in 1993.
