This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

Also named as the Dizhixuejia Dao, a fusiformis island between Ardley Island and Wanglong Yan decayed rock dotted the island, many giant petrels lay their eggs on the island, golodrinas and sea gulls also dwell on the island. This island is a good sight-seeing place when travelling at Great Wall Station. Named by the captain of the first adventure team using the name of an island in a chinese city: Xiamen in 1986.
