This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
An island, 600 meters northwest to Beike Dao, is surrounded by steep seashores. The island is covered with cliffs. On the top of the island there are flat rocks. It was named when aerial photos surveying and mapping in February 1986.
