This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A rocky mountain, located at the ice sheet in the middle part of eastern Wuyue Bandao, is 88 metres above sea level. Most part of the mountain is covered under ice and snow; there is only a 20-metre-high peak above snow. It was named when surveying and mapping in 1993.
