A big fresh-water lake in the eastern Larsemann Hills, located at the common boundary of icecap and a group of uncovered rocks, has an area of 0.16 sq m. The lake is surrounded by mountains and mountains, the south bank of which stands Hunan Shan, Luojia Shan and Changbai Shan. The lake is plenty deep and contains a great amount of water. Because of the lake's location, southwest to the Old Russian Progress Station, it was named when surveying and mapping in 1992.
