Feature type: Beach
This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A beach is located in the southeast corner of a group of uncovered rocks lying in the north Nelson Island and the south side of Taiyang Shan. The Chinese Antarctica expedition usually lands on the beach when the team goes from the Great Wall Station to Nelson Island by boats to do icecap investigations and the monitor of movement of crustal deformation. There is a Chinese shelter on the beach. This place was named according to the aerial images in February 1986.
