This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Situated in the middle of the southern part of Tri Peninsula, its northern side is connected to an icecap. After climbing to the peak, you can see the Antarctic icecap looking to the south, with a vast expense of whiteness, full of power and grandeur. It was named when surveying and mapping in 1993.
