This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Among those lakes located in the north mountain area in Situernisi peninsula, there is a curving strap-shaped lake measuring 400 meters long. The southern corner of the lake borders on the Ziyang Lake.It was named in 1991 when mapping the area.
