Origin

This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

It is a series of mountains located over 400 meters east south to Great Wall Station. At the north foot of it there is the Yanwo Lake. The shape of the mountains is strip, just like a long snake. It connects with Tortoise Mountain at east, which is like a tortoise and a snake are dancing together. It was named in 1985 when terrain survey and mapping by Dongchen E according to the famous She Shan in Wuhan.
