This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
It’s an island that is located in the east opening of Fields Strait with two independent rock peaks. One is 38 meters above sea level and the other is 28 meters above sea level. The island is full of strange-shape weathered rocks. This place was named in the January 1986 when setting the control stations of strait faults’ moving and deformation net.
