This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A high land located between Tianlong Bandao and Zangxiu Gu. There is ocean on the east side, its coast steep, and in the southern part there's a mountain pass with an average altitude of about 50m covered by permanent snow and is even on the top. While graphers form Wuhan Mapping Tech University were setting control points, they used to camp to the right of it, and therefore naming it this way.
