This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A small round lake located in a valley in south slope of the Zijin Shan. In summer, the snow and ice of Zijin Shan and the southwest highland melts and becomes the lake. The water is very clear, and the lake is high-lying. It was named by E Dongchen while surveying and mapping Zhongshan Station in January 1989.
