This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Located in Broknes Peninsula, the connected point of southwest bare rock region and icecap. On the hillside and the surrounding valleys, there is snow left not melted in summertime. The hill with an altitude of 115m, is one of the highest peaks of the Larsemann Hills. It was named after the famous Chinese mountain——Tian Shan, when surveying and mapping in 1992.
