This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A wide flat located in the west of north tableland, originated form the Collins Icecap in the north, extending to the Marsh airport in the south, covering an area of about 10 square kilometers, the average elevation of it about 35 meters. It is the biggest "plain" to the northwest of Fildes Peninsula. It was named when aerial photos surveying and mapping in February 1986.
