This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
It is a long lane from the Chinese Antarctic Zhongshan Station to the Russian Progress Station. Cars and flat cars can be driven on it, and it is a traffic artery between the two stations. This lane is undulating and some parts of the route can reach a declivity of around sixty or seventy degrees. It was named when surveying and mapping in January 1989.
