Narrative
The mountain range is comprising the mountains Petrellfjellet, Slokstallen and Kvithamaren, located in the central part of Mühlig-Hofmann-Gebirge, E of Bundermannketten, N of Hädrichberg and SW of Buddenbrockkette, Fimbulheimen, Neuschwabenland, Dronning Maud Land. Discovered during German Antarctic Expedition 1938/39 ('Neuschwabenland-Expedition') under Alfred Ritscher.
Named For
Erich Gruber, radio operator of the expedition's Dornier flying boat 'Boreas'.
