Narrative

The mountain is located W of the névé Nigglifirnfeld being the accumulation zone of Wilhelm Glacier and Trainer Glacier, Victory Mountains, Victoria Land. Surveyed during the German Antarctic North Victoria Land Expedition 1982/83 (Ganovex III).

Named For

Ernst Kraus (1889-1970), German alpine geologist, Professor at the universities of Königsberg, Riga and München.
