This name originates from Germany. It is part of the Germany Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The massif, at the head of Crawford Glacier, is located between Mount Hager in the N and Mount Ford in the S, Bowers Mountains, Oates Land, Victoria Land. Surveyed during the German Antarctic North Victoria Land Expedition 1982/83 (Ganovex III).
Resembling the Monte Rosa, Switzerland/Italy.
