This name originates from Germany. It is part of the Germany Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ridge is extending as a mountain spur in the W of Everett Range into Lillie Glacier, Concord Mountains, Victoria Land. Surveyed during the German Antarctic North Victoria Land Expedition 1979/80 (Ganovex I).
Named for frequently occurring pegmatite veins in the ridge.
