A small outlet glacier originated in Touchdown Hills, flowing between the two nunataks of Bertrabnunatakker and Belgrano II Station, confluencing with Lerchenfeldgletscher and Schweitzergletscher and draining into Herzog-Ernst-Bucht, Prinzregent-Luitpold-Land, Coats Land, Weddell Sea. Discovered during Deutsche Antarktische Expedition 1911/12 under Wilhelm Filchner.
Albrecht Penck (1858-1945), German geographer and geologist; detecting and proving the triple glaciation of Middle Europe; in 1891 he called for the production of a World Map Series at 1.000.000 scale.
