The terrace is located at the confluence of Traversegletscher with Arruiz Glacier, facing Frolov Ridge in the W, Explorer Range, Bowers Mountains, Oates Land, Victoria Land. Surveyed during the German Antarctic North Victoria Land Expedition 1979/80 (Ganovex I).
A terraced outcrop where pyrite exists in abundance.
