This name originates from Germany. It is part of the Germany Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The glacier is confluencing with Campness Glacier before flowing into Lillie Glacier, Copperstain Ridge with Mount Freed in the W and Mount Radspinner in the E, Bowers Mountains, Oates Land, Victoria Land. Surveyed during the German Antarctic North Victoria Land Expedition 1982/83 (Ganovex III).
