Height of Northern Foothills, SW of Mount Browning, facing Gerlache Inlet, Terra Nova Bay, Scott Coast, Victoria Land. Surveyed during the German Antarctic North Victoria Land Expedition 1984/85 (Ganovex IV).
Josef Schmid († 1985-FEB-24), aircraft mechanics during Ganovex IV, killed at the return flight of the survey aircraft 'Polar 3" over the Western Sahara by a missile shoot-down.
