A group of nunataks comprising Huldreslottet, S-most part of Borgmassivet, Ritscherhochland, Maudheimvidda, Neuschwabenland, Dronning Maud Land. Discovered during German Antarctic Expedition 1938/39 ('Neuschwabenland-Expedition') under Alfred Ritscher.

Fritz Spieß (1881-1959), President of Deutsche Seewarte, Hamburg.
