This name originates from Germany. It is part of the Germany Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The glacier is located between Frolov Ridge in the W and Pyritterasse at its right side, confluencing with Arruiz Glacier before flowing into Rennick Glacier, Bowers Mountains, Oates Land, Victoria Land. Surveyed during the German Antarctic North Victoria Land Expedition 1979/80 (Ganovex I).
Glacier crossed by Ganovex I members on skis.
