The ridge, facing the confluence of Boyer Glacier with Mariner Glacier, forms the accumulation zone of Nascent Glacier; Index Point at the E end; Moutainier Range, Borchgrevink Coast, Victoria Land. Surveyed during the German Antarctic North Victoria Land Expedition 1982/83 (Ganovex III).
