flowing N into Bancroft Bay, Danco Coast, was photographed from the air by FIDASE in 1956-57 and named after Maurice Brian Bayly (b. 1929), FIDS geologist, Danco Island , 1956-57, who with L. Harris (Harris Peak, q.v.) pioneered the route from Portal Point to Forbidden Plateau in February 1957 (APC, 1960, p.3; BA chart 3566, 25.viii. 1961). Glaciar Bayly (Argentina. AA, 1991, p. 6).
