Narrative

SW of Petermann Island, Graham Coast, was charted by FAE, 1908-10, and named Île Bazzano, probably after a supporter of the expedition (Charcot, 1912, Pl. 5). Bazzano Islet (USHO, 1943, p.138). Islote Bazzano (Argentina. MM, 1953, p.290; Pierrou, 1970, p.194). Bazzano Island, following air photography by FIDASE in 1956-57 (APC, 1959a, p.4).
