NW coast of Fildes Peninsula, King George Island, following geological work by BAS, 1975-76, was named from the crude stone hut, evidently built by nineteenth-century sealers, on the bay (APC, 1980, p.3). Dos Lobos Marinhos (Brazil. Península Fildes map, 1984 ).
