Narrative

rising to 850m in Liège Island and including Pavlov Peak and Mount Vesalius, were roughly mapped by BeAE on 25 January 1898 and named Monts Brugmann after Georges Brugmann of Brussels, Belgian banker and a patron of the expedition (Lecointe, chart, 1899; SRBG, 1900, p.19). Mount Brugmann (Cook, 1900, p.137). Monts Bruggmann [sic] (Gerlache, 1900b).
