S-most of Rouen Mountains, rising to c. 1500m, following surveys by BAS, 1973-77, were named after Bernard William Care (b. 1951), BAS geologist, "Stonington Island", 1973-75; Adelaide and N Alexander Island, 1975-76, 1976-77 (BAS 250P sheet SR 19-20/5 (Ext.), 1-DOS, 1978; APC, 1980, p.3).
