Lake approximately 250 m. x 300 m. at its widest, 700 m. W of Chester Cone, 300 m. S of Midge Lake, on Byers Peninsula, Livingston Island, South Sheltland Islands. Studied by the Swedish and British paleolimnologists, a major location for aquatic moss Drepanocladus on Byers Peninsula, named in association with Chester Cone (APC, 1993).
