Narrative

rising to c. 1150m at NE end of Osterrieth Range, Anvers Island, was sighted by BeAE in February 1898; following the cruise of HMS Snipe (Capt. J.G. Forbes, RN) in January 1948, named after Sir Miles Clifford (Clifford Glacier, q.v.) (APC, 1955, p.7; USHO, 1962, p.153; BAS 250 sheet SQ 19-20/4, 1-DOS 1974). The peak was photographed from the air by FIDASE in 1956.
