Maurice John Cole (b. 1935), Senior Master of the BAS ship Bransfield from 1975; Third Officer, 1960-61, Second Officer, 1961-63, Master, 1969-72, John Biscoe; Chief Officer, Shackleton, 1963-69 (APC, 1986, p.3).
