rising to c. 1525m on NW side of Meiklejohn Glacier, George VI Sound, were photographed from the air by BGLE, 16 August 1936, and surveyed from the ground in October 1936 (Stephenson, 1940, map facing p.232); resurveyed by FIDS from "Stonington Island" in 1949; named after Miss Frances E. Creswick (b. 1907) (Mrs James I. Moore, Moore Point, q.v.), Assistant to the Director, SPRI, 1931-38, who helped to organize BGLE (APC, 1955, p.8; DCS 601 sheet W 70 66, 1956; BAS 250P sheet SR 19-20/10, 1-DOS 1974). Crestwick [sic] Peaks (USHO chart 6639, 1955). Gory Krezik-Piks (Soviet Union. MMF chart, 1961). The peaks were further surveyed by BAS, 1962-72. Gory Krezik (Soviet Union. AA, 1966, Pl. 24).
