highest point (510m) of Doumer Island (q.v.), off SE Anvers Island, following survey by an RN Hydrographic Survey Unit from John Biscoe in 1952, was called Mount Doumer in association with the island ([Hunt], chart, [1952]); called Monte Capitán by AAE (Argentina. MM, 1953, p.270a); following resurvey by an RN Hydrographic Survey Unit, 1956-57, named Doumer Hill (APC, 1959a, p.6).
