Narrative

flowing SW from Rouen Mountains into Russian Gap, N Alexander Island, was surveyed by BAS from "Fossil Bluff", 1975-76; in association with other FAE names in this area, named after M. Frachat, motor engineer in Pourquoi Pas? on FAE, 1908-10, one of the first expeditions to take motorized transport to Antarctica (Dibbern, 1976, p.261-62) (APC, 1980, p.3).
