rising to c. 1250m at head of Starbuck Glacier, Oscar II Coast, was surveyed by BAS from "Stonington Island", 1963-64; in association with the names of characters from Moby Dick in this area, named after Gabriel, the crewman in Jeroboam (APC, 1977, p.14).
