Narrative

three off-shore rocks on N side of Rymill Bay, Fallières Coast, were surveyed by FIDS from "Stonington Island", 1948-49, and so named from the occurrence of garnet in the rock (Adie, 1954, p.12; APC, 1955, p.10; DCS 601 sheet 68 66, 1955). Skua Gull Islands (Nichols, 1955, p.14).
