Murrish (Murrish Glacier, q.v.) investigated peripheral vascular control mechanism in birds of the Antarctic Peninsula in the summers 1972-75 (BAS 250P sheet SR 19-20/16, 1-DOS 1976; APC, 1977, p.15).
